We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2025, Bert Kolkman of Mitchell, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Mies Kolkman (Poppe); and his parents, Gerardus Kolkman and Henrika Kolkman. He is survived by: his children, Gerald (Veronica), Joe (Theresia), Teresa Punch (John), Alma Hollingshead (Harvey), John (Wilma) and Colleen Mathieson (Paul); his siblings, Gerard Kolkman (Ann) and Riek Groot Koerkamp (Anton); and his siblings' child Holland.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lockhart Funeral Home (109 Montreal St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church - Kinkora (4593 145 Rd, Rostock, ON N0K1X0). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery (171 Nelson St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0).
