He was predeceased by : his parents, George Schmidt and Betty Schmidt of Mitchell; and his parents-in-law, John and Joanne Vanderzand. He is survived by : his wife Anne; his daughters, Sarah (Jade), Amy (Steve) and Meghan (John); his grandchildren, Teagan, Norah, Blake, Harper, Emmett, Anneke and Lars; his sisters, Cindy (Larry) and Pam (Dave); and his siblings-in-law, Marleen (Hubert), Harry (Donna), Joe (Carolyn), John and Mary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
