It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Elligsen (Mitchell, Ontario), who passed away on September 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Elligsen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar; her parents, Victor and Josephine (Kalbfleisch); her siblings, Edith (Harvey Hohner), Laura (Cliff Pepper), Earl (Phylis) and Claire (Margaret); and her sister-in-law Elaine Deichert.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Bender (John), Margaret Hull and John Elligsen (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Karen Bender (Jan), Marcus, Lisa, Michael Bender, Melanie Hull, Diana Erb (Mike), Christopher Hull (Harriet), Nick Elligsen (Nicole), Tyler Elligsen (Bailey), Laura Elligsen (Killian) and Sarah Elligsen (Brent); her great grandchildren, Anthony, Jack, River, Elliott, Beckett, Chase, Annalise, Kayden, Brinlee, Rylee, Fia and Fiona; and her siblings, Margaret Deichert and Edward Deichert (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church - Brodhagen (6671a Perth County Line 44, Brodhagen, Ontario N0K1A0). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery (Brodhagen, ON N0K1A0).
