George Coveney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Coveney of Mitchell, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Darren Mohr; his parents, Norman Coveney and Florence Coveney; and his sister Evelyn Edmunds. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Coveney; his daughters, Kathy Ryan (Gary), Donna Coveney, Susan Cronin (Dale) and Sandra Mohr (Ed); his grandchildren, Jenilee Haddon (Ty), Melissa Armbruster (Justin), Shawnee Kraemer (Tyler), Darrick Harmer (Raegan), Randi Boshart (Tim), Deklan Cronin (Karley), Connor Cronin (Mary), Kaden Cronin (Kelly), Jamie Mohr (Murissa) and Lisa Mohr (Kody); and his brother-in-law Dennis Hughey (Barb). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lockhart Funeral Home (109 Montreal St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
