She was predeceased by : her parents, Eric Toellner and Lisbeth Toellner; her siblings, Helga and Rolph; her sister-in-law Sheila; and her nephew David.

She is survived by : her children, Darick (Ellie), Shawne and John (Heather); her granddaughters, Alexis, Ava and Ireland; her siblings, Reinhard and Margaret; her extended family, Eldeen, Derek (Andrea), April (Derek), Devon (Sarah), Evelyn, Bentley, Lorne, Carter, Russell, Brayden and Natalie; her significant other Lyle Ward; and her pet Angel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
