He was predeceased by : his son Wayne; his brothers, Cameron Kelly (Myrtle) and Kenneth; and his parents, William Kelly and Mabel Kelly (Ferguson).

He is survived by : his spouse Ruth Kelly; his children, Sharon Kelly, Nancy Kelly-McGill and Patricia D'Agostino (Joe); and his child-in-law Jeannie Kelly.
