She was predeceased by: her parents, Casey Bullen and Merle Bullen (Srigley); her husband Bill Smith; her sons-in-law, Louis McNichol and Chuck Wildgust; and her siblings, Helen Brown, Marion Tolton, Lillian Ditchfield, Charles, Henry, Percy, Roy and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Gilliland (John), Barb Deffterios (Nick), Linda Collins (Bill), Brenda Schade (John), Brad Smith (Denise), Dale Smith, Kevin Smith (Suzanne), Darcy Smith, Greg Smith, Rhonda Tuffnail (Peter) and Rodney Smith (Melissa); and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Street, Donna Smith, Roberta Smith, Sharon Smith, Irma Smith and Allison Smith (Jean). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Lockhart Funeral Home (109 Montreal St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
