She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Harry Bower; her parents, Robert Melville and Elizabeth Melville; and her sister Doris Howes (Frank). She is survived by: her children, Bob Bower (Pat), Heather Weir (Larry) and Janice Hannon (Dave); her grandchildren, Chad Bower, Julia Sutherland (Jay), Nick Keller (Amanda), Katrina Hall (Blake), Jeff Hannon (Kerri), Crystal Visneskie (Jamie) and Curtis Hannon (Natasha); her nieces, Bonnie Harmer (Bill) and Jane Anne French; and her nephew Scott Bower (Noriko).
