Ross Balfour Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ross Balfour of Mitchell, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Audrey; his brother-in-law Laverne Gordner; and his granddaughter Christina Murray. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Balfour; his children, Darlene Murphy (Jim), Brian Balfour (Debbie), Jeff Balfour (Nancy) and Vu Phong; his grandchildren, Susanne McGinnis (John), Ryan Balfour (Elizabeth), Sarah Cairns (Justin), Aaron Balfour (Jennie) and Jordan Balfour (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Rainey McGinnis, Lydia, Benjamin, Owen, Luke Balfour, Theodore and Finley Balfour.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lockhart Funeral Home (109 Montreal St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery (Perth, ON).
