He was predeceased by : his wife Janet Kroesen. He is survived by : his children, Jennyfer Simpson (Frederick Moffat Jr.), Hugh Simpson (Lana), Christine Simpson (Michael Sesto) and Victoria Simpson; his grandchildren, Amy Simpson, Stephanie Simpson (Tyler Yates), Candice Simpson, Fred Moffat III (Jen) and Schuyler Moffat; his great grandchildren, James, Kate, Peyton, Nico and Craig; and his close friend Doug McEwen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
