He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie-Alice and Joseph; his son Daniel (Monique) of Atlanta; and his brothers, Rosaire (Laurette) of Montreal and Paul (Pierrette) of Nipigon.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannine; his children, Pierre (Danielle), Luc (Monique) of Moonbeam, Suzanne Bourgon (Bruno) of Timmins and Julie Lapointe (Roch) of Jogues; his siblings, Marthe Bouchard of Chicoutimi, Irène Dallaire (Bernardin) of Desbiens, Marie Godin (late Jean-Guy), Gérard (Claudette) of Moonbeam, Bernard (Monique) of Timmins, Simon (Paulette) of Marathon and Jean-Pierre (France) of Boucherville; and his grandchildren, Chantal, Roxanne, Mélissa, Valérie, Natalie, Lori, Anne, Mathieu, Josiane, Raymond, Isabelle, Élodie and France.
