Edward Charles Loughran Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2025, at the age of 81, Edward Charles Loughran of Moorefield, Ontario, born in Listowel, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Loughran and Hazel Loughran (Cober); his parents-in-law, Abe and Helen Heidbuurt; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Loughran and Henry Heidbuurt.
He is survived by: his wife Jane (Heidbuurt); his children, Charlene (Gary Guth) of Kitchener, Cheryl (Tom Hintermayer) of Kitchener and Paul (Lindy Dietrich) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Olivia, Owen Hintermayer, Maddy, Rachel Guth, William and Ali Loughran; his brother Allan (Theresa); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Heidbuurt (Dianne), Arnie Heidbuurt and Kate Heidbuurt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waterloo Region (https://www.hospicewaterloo.ca) or the Waterloo Region Health Network Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (can be arranged through the funeral home or online).
