She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Merkley; her sister Penny Racine; and her parents, Jane Simser and Donald Simser. She is survived by: her family Bettyanne Merkley of Morewood; her children, Drew Merkley and April Bissonnette (Marc); her grandchildren, Ethan, Chloe, Vaughan and Kayleigh; and her siblings, Junior (Ona) and Zina Simser. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Byers Funeral Home (2990 Church St, South Mountain, ON K0E1W0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel.
Donations in Memory of Bettyanne may be made to the Dundas County Hospice.
