She was predeceased by: her spouse Delburn Carruthers; her son Hugh Carruthers (Sharon); and her siblings, Ken, Ralph, Charlie, George, Bob, Milton McLaughlin and Mildred Hillis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Pollock (Wayne) and Helen McBain (Stan); and her grandchildren, Megan Crooke (Jeffrey), Beth Pollock (Thorin Gault), Adam (Lesley Howse), Kristen Rolland (Chris) and Stefanie McBain Steven (Matt Eades). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
