We are sad to announce that, on January 27, 2026, at the age of 94, Doreen Barker of Morpeth, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Doreen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Doreen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barker and Jessie Barker (Rutherford); and her sister Mary Lou Marchand. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Penney of Morpeth; and her nieces and nephews, Ken Penney (Darlene) of Chatham, Debbie Wardell (Mark) of Chatham, Laurie Marchand (Jen) of Toronto and Susan Lindsay (Tom) of Blenheim.
