He was predeceased by : his wife June Carkner; his parents, Milton Carkner and Retta Carkner; and his sister Lois Barkley. He is survived by : his children, Marilyn Carkner of Morrisburg and Larry Carkner (Shirley Leslie) of Kitchener; his grandchild Carey Sherwood; and his brother Art Carkner (Edna) of Morrisburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
