With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lorne Strader of Morrisburg, Ontario, whose life came to an end on October 23, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Vera Strader; his close friend Doris Stewart; his parents, Basil Strader and Mae Strader; and his brother Gilson Strader.
He is survived by: his children, Neil (late Debbie), Lorna and Sharon (Eric Zwicker); his grandsons, Aaron Zwicker and Brock Zwicker; and his sibling's children, Judean Steffenson (Colleen) of Kamloops, B. C. and Gayle (Harry) of Lethbridge, AB. He is also survived by many great-nieces as well as many lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (10 Legion St, Morrisburg, ON K0C1X0).
Chairman, Spencerville Mill Foundation (1982-1990). Member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (1945-2025) · Noble Grand, Oddfellows Lodge (1975) · and countless other volunteer positions which lead him to receive the Queens Jubilee Medal for outstanding contributions to their community.
