He was predeceased by : his wife Marjorie Bray. He is survived by : his girlfriend Darla Louise Fox; his children, Patti Eek (Dave) and Kent Bray (Sue); his grandchildren, Darryl Eek (Kristin), Joel Eek (Asha), Kevin Eek (Samantha), Sheldon Bray (Jenna) and Allison Bray (Mike); his great grandchildren, Finnley, Beckett, Kayley, Nora, Adalyn and Bryson; and his siblings, Larry Bray (Jean), Lois MacPherson (Bill) and Len Bray (Sandra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In Alan's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
