He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Ryan and Autumn; his brothers, Robert (Teresa) and David; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie, Earl and Don.

He is survived by: his spouse Gail Graham; his children, Carrie-Anne Bennie and William "Billy" Bennie; his stepchildren, Stephanie Lefler, Beverly McConnell (Paul), David Sherman (Liz) and Megan Smith (Leroy); his grandchildren, Billy, Josh, Zach, Renee, Denise, Brandon, Calab, Landon, Ryder, Hunter, Amberly, Nala, Joseph, Adahliyah, Nathan, Nevaeh, Savana, Callum, Rylind and Ryler; his sisters, Elizabeth (late Junior) and Margaret; his siblings-in-law, Marlene and Harvey; and his close friend Tony Alves. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
