He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his significant other Ruthanne Freer; his children, Laurie Mitchell (Lorne), Angelia Neary (Martin) and Peter Jr.; his grandchildren, Greg (Connor), Cara-Lee (Amber), Selina (Isaac) and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Dallas; and his sisters, Henrietta and Patricia. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
