He was predeceased by: his son Kevin; his siblings-in-law, Wilfred, Paul and Jennie Quenneville; and his parents, Frank DeDobbelaer and Madeleine DeDobbelaer (Matthynssens).

He is survived by: his wife Violet; his daughter Gina Bes; his grandchildren, Dane Bes (Lindsay Mckenzie) and Sasha Bes; and his sister Denise Crevits. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
