She was predeceased by: her husband Ken McIlvenna; her son Stephen McIlvenna; her parents, John Silk and Mary Silk; and her brother Ron Silk (Madge).

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Madersbacher (Dave) of Mississauga, Lori Carlson (Bob) of Barrie, Darla D'Amato (Michael) of Schomberg and Tracey Rodgers (Brent) of Orangeville; and her grandchildren, Michael (Marie-Eve), Marc, Jason (Jenn), Brittany, Adam, Tyler, Brandon (Melissa), Andrew (Alyssa) and Lauren. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
