He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Norm Phillips (Jane) and Shirley Hauraney (David); his sons, Jim and Steven; his siblings, Albert, Merle, Winston, Garnet, Judy, Carolyn and Geraldine; his siblings-in-law, Barb, Elihu, Winston and Ross; and his nieces, Barb and Annette.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Chris Doherty (Christina) and Victoria Hibbins (Tim); his sisters, Audrey Bloodsworth and Margaret Ruff; his grandchildren, Liam, Elana Doherty, Tanya, Maxton Eckstein, Amanda and Andrew "Avelyn" Hibbins; and his great grandchildren, Anne, Samson, James, Tancred and Godfrey Eckstein.
