She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Ferguson; her parents, Ken Ross and Alma Ross; and her siblings-in-law, Jack, Ella, Marshall (Mike), Gladys, Jean, Joan and Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Perry (Cindy-Lee), Dwayne (Connie) and Jill Dee; her siblings-in-law, Marion, Bonnie, Jessie, Joyce and Barb (John); and her friends, Wayne, Doug, Ruth and Maggie.

A come-and-go celebration of Derlene's life will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 1:30-4:00 p.m. with memories being shared at 2:30 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Derlene are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
