She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel "Dan" Joseph Castaldi; her birth parents, George Victor Makins and Grace Evelyn Turner; and her adoptive parents, Frances Stokoe and Frank Stokoe.

She is survived by: her children, Tracy Hughes and Christopher Hughes (Laura); her grandchild Madison; her brother John Stokoe (David); and her niece Brenda (Ray).
