He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Blackburn (Graham); his son Mark Blackburn; his siblings, Gordon Blackburn, Doug Blackburn, Muriel Fortune and Thelma Meesters (John); and his parents, Stanley Blackburn and Elvira Blackburn.

He is survived by: his children, Trent and Lisa Blackburn of Oakville; his daughter-in-law Brenda Blackburn of Wasaga Beach; his grandchildren, Jason, Tara, Kayla, Rebecca (Travis), Ryan and Lexi; his great grandchildren, Chloe and McKenna; his siblings, Helen and Jim Hughes of Collingwood; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Blackburn of Collingwood, Helen Blackburn of Creemore and Doug Fortune of Collingwood.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church (135 Elora St S, Harriston, ON N0G1Z0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations to Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Louise Marshall Hospital or Cancer Patient Services would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
