With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shirley Ann Prendergast (Mount Forest, Ontario), whose life came to an end on December 12, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilfred; her parents, Alex and Lydia; and her siblings, Lloyd (Leona), Betty (Tom Brassard) and Robert (Vilda).
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Johnson (Eugene), Bert (Judy), Susan, Nancy (Bryan Perdue) and Julieanne (Marni Barrow); and her brother Rick Bond (Brenda) of Malton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Forest Legion (140 King St W, Mount Forest, ON N0G2L1). When you arrive for the service, there will be a staff member to assist you with Covid Screening.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB or Cancer Patient Services (Mount Forest Thrift Shop) would be appreciated by the family. The family has requested donations be made to the following charities (please choose one): Cancer Patient Services (Mount Forest Thrift Shop).
