She was predeceased by: her husband Murray Burns; her siblings, Gordon (Marion), Louise (Jerry), Catherine (Lorne), Mary Alice (Bernard), Austin (Wilda), Bernard (Sheila) and Gerald (Angela); and her siblings-in-law, Ivan and Catherine Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Burns (Darlene), Connie Keating (Steve) and Wayne Burns (Catherine); her sisters, Agnes (late Lawrence) and Elsie (late Robert); and her sister-in-law Marie Burns (late Raymond).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 7:45 PM at the England Funeral Home (294 Main St S, Mount Forest, ON N0G2L2). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Purification Church (310 Parkside Dr, Mount Forest, ON N0G2L3). When you arrive for the service, there will be a staff member to assist you with Covid Screening.
A donation may be made to a charity of your choice : I will be mailing/hand delivering my cheque to the funeral home The funeral home will notify the family of your donation.
