She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Eunice McKenzie and Stephen Cecil McKenzie; her sons, Geoffrey Miller (Marlon), Earl Miller (Bobby) and Andrew Michél Thomas (Tommy); her grandchildren, Tianna, Meredith and Melinda Miller; her siblings, Shelia McKenzie-Barnwell, Jacqueline Walsh, Sonia Anderson, Maxine Stamp, Zena McKenzie, Michael McKenzie, Daliah McKenzie-Heron and Paul McKenzie; and her close friend Eslin Jefferson.
