He was predeceased by: his former wife Marlyn Garland; his wife Elaine Garland; and his siblings, Beverley Churchill and Edward Garland. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Garland and Sherrolyn Perras (Roger Gervais); his stepchildren, Kevin, Greg, Michael Keirstead (Lorraine) and Karen Pynn (Tom); and his brother Don Garland (Linell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendrier Tubman Funeral Homes - Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Munster United Church (2881 Munster Rd, Munster, ON K0A3P0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Munster Union Cemetery.
