She is survived by : her children, Catrina "Krini", Hugo Kavelaars (Carol) of Toronto, Harry Kavelaars (Kathy) of Trenton and Rudy Couvreur; and her sister Krini (Jacques) of Streetsville. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
