He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Sutton and Anna O'Connor; his sister Marjorie; and his brother-in-law Angus Harrison. He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo"; his children, Chris (Marina), Su Brown (Jim) and Lisa (John Marchenkowsky); and his close friend Nali.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (4118 County Rd 4, Centreville, ON K0K1N0). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Anthony of Padua Cemetery (4116 County Rd 4, Centreville, ON K0K1N0).
