He was predeceased by: his wife June Prang; his great grandchild Garrett Yeates; and his siblings, Mabel, Helen, Florence, Nora, Ella, Gordon, Willard and Alvin.
He is survived by: his children, Calvin Prang (Judy) of Bath, ON and Cheryl Porteous (Bill) of Sarnia; his grandchildren, Casey Porteous (Krista), Kristin Scott (Sam Biggs), Colleen Saunders-Cartier (Troy) and Crystal Jodouin Billy (late Robert); his great grandchildren, Grady Falcon, Morgan Porteous, Rebekah Moor (Brandon), Jack Yeates, Justin Porteous (Chloe Busby), Maddison Porteous, Logan Yeates, Harmonie Porteous, Joshua Jodouin, Meeghan Porteous, Chase Porteous, Kyle Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Lily Saunders, Olivia Yeates, Finn Saunders and Campbell Phillips; his great great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Kaia Porteous; and his sisters-in-law, May Prange and Heather Pearson (Glenn).
