She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Leary; her son Jim (Patty); her parents, Archie Babcock and Winnifred Babcock; and her siblings, Audrey, Eileen, Jean, Naydene, Betty, Sheila, Laverne and Douglas.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Elaine Mainz (Penny Steele); her children, Doug (Norma), Susan Walden (Mark) and Peter (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Michael (Saira), Sean (Julia), Maureen (Brian), Ryan (Heather), Sarah (Keith), Jennifer (Stephen), Ben (Colleen), Kristi (Brock), Cooper (Janelle) and Brooks (Meghan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and in the hearts of friends.
Donations in memory of Elva, may be made to the Trinity United Church or the L&A County General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
