He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Roch. He is survived by: his children, Jen Gilbert (Jessica Fields), Chris Gilbert, Anna Roch (Neil Jetty) and Ian Gilbert (Jocelyn Irwin); his grandchildren, Max, Joshua, Emily, Avery, Jacob, Thomas, Graeme, Liam and Jessica; and his sisters, Ginny Warrener (Jay), Shan Cooper (Doug) and Joanne McDonald (Steve).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1). A reception will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Napanee Golf and Country Club (201 County Rd 8, Napanee, ON K7R3M3).
