James Young Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of James Young in Napanee, Ontario. James, born on September 21, 1960, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember James for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Young and Jean Young. He is survived by: his wife Janette York; his children, Lacey Young (Luke Myers), Leanne Young (Jesse Ball) and Chris Young (Brittany); and his siblings, Pat Hare (Gary), Nancy Hart (Randy), Liz Despres (Mike) and Gary Young (Angie).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Selby Community Hall (114B Pleasant Dr, Selby, ON K0K1Z0).
Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
