He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cosman and Effie Allen; and his siblings, Phyllis Ford (late Wendell), Bernard Cosman (Hazel) and Charlene Walsh.

He is survived by: his wife Gertie; and his siblings, George Cosman (Shirley) and Norma Oulette (Phillip).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1).

Donations in memory of John made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
