We bid farewell to Marie Barr of Napanee, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 9, 2025 at the age of 97. Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Archie Barr; her brother James Groh (Madeline); and her in-laws, Maxwell, Donald, Isobel and Elsie.

She is survived by: her children, Allan (Donna) of Trenton, Roberta Wood (John) of Guelph, Rosanne Hache (late Peter) of Guelph, Brian (Sangita) of Guelph and Gloria Forsyth (Kevin) of Hillier. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hannah Funeral Home - Napanee (123 Dundas St W, Napanee, ON K7R1Z9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
