She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Hill and Catherine Hill of Brockville; her brother Irvin Hill; her husband Ronald Bennett; and her children, Michael, Janice (Bob), Dianne, Kathy (Mario Sr.), Joan (Mahmut) and Sam (Tammy).
She is survived by: her sister Mary Helen Hill; her grandchildren, Shawn (Julie), Lisa (Andrew), Mario Jr. (Kayla), Brandon (Stephanie), Luke, Derek and Kayla; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Charlotte, Michael, Livia, Nathan, Lucy, Bria, Hudson, Nash, Jordyn and Remi.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley's memory to Hospice Quinte and the Canadian Cancer Society.
