It is with sadness that the passing of Sylvia Hayes (Napanee, Ontario) is shared. Sylvia, born on October 17, 1937, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sylvia will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Sylvia by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband James Jules Hayes; her parents, Adolf Stobee and Terese Stobee; and her sister Edith Landgraff. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lakins (Shane), William Hayes (Carol-Anne) and Beverly Affleck (Jacob); and her nieces, Karen, Susan and Lorna.
