With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ranald Andrew Quail of Navan, Ontario, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wives, Marie Ruth Arseneault and Carol Henderson; his parents, John Patrick and Mary Quail; and his sister Martha Baird (Michael).

He is survived by: his children, Cathryn Begley (Terry), Deborah Quail-Blier (Peter) and John Quail (Monique); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Cathleen), Tyler Begley (Polina), Alyssa Blier-Kitchen (Shane), Julia Blier-Wakefield (Mack), Meghan Blier-Abou (Andrew), Isabelle and Élise Quail; his great grandchildren, Isla, Nash, Sloane, Brooke and Grayson; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Poirier and Evelyn Henderson.

Even though I probably frustrated him with my circling style of play, he never waivered and he spent endless hours suggesting numerous tricks to changing my approach.
