We announce the death of Donald Alva Stinson of Nepean, Ontario, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his son Shawn Irwin; his brother Bill Stinson; and his parents, Gordon Stinson and Mabel Stinson of Nepean.

He is survived by: his daughter Lorri Hodder; his brother David Stinson; his grandson Curtis Irwin; his great grandchild Skyler; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Peter Stinson (Leanne), Jim Stinson (Julie), Mary Lyons (Karl), Diana Saunders (Mike), Kim Stinson, Terry Stinson (Bonnie) and Trevor Stinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
