She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Shaw and Clara Shaw; and her siblings, Florence Storey, Victor Shaw and Doug Shaw.

She is survived by: her husband Douglas Cooper; her daughter Cherie Goebel (Chris); her grandchildren, Jason Ouellette (Darlene) and Chris Ouellette (Laura); and her great grandchildren, Aidan, Hudson, Penelope, Alexina, Josephine and Zachary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
