With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dow Phillips (New Dundee, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dow left this world on March 3, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Phillips and Clara Phillips (Hammill); and his siblings-in-law, Mervin Good, Paul Good (Beth), Floyd Good (Wilma), Mary Ellen Good and Elroy Good.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Phillips (Good); his brothers, Douglas Phillips (Dorothy) and David Phillips (Karen); and his foster brother Ervin Hollinger (Nancy). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lisaard House or Diabetes Ontario.

Having not grown up in Canada, I felt cheated out of the deep connections with cousins. Once I got to know Dow and Marilyn in my 30's I was so grateful for their embracing love.
