He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gidman and Lillian Gidman (Greenslade); and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Lawson and Victor Polak. He is survived by: his wife Joan Gidman (Dunn); his children, Stephen Gidman (Christine Beck) and Pamela Gidman; his grandchild Marilena Herzing; and his siblings, Arthur (Susan), Brian, Sheila Lawson, Marjorie Bishop (John), Pamela Polak, Doreen and Elaine. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
