She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert; her children, Cody, Andrea Buchenauer (Birch), Ben and Renee Buchenauer (Donaldson); her grandchildren, Jake Buchenauer, Pawma of Guinness and Ciri; her parents, Eva Huppke (Gunther Barz) and Otto Alexy; her parents-in-law, Olga Buchenauer and John Buchenauer; her sisters, Ingrid Ferrede (Alexy), Dagmar Otto (Alexy) and Esther Alexy; her siblings-in-law, Ron, Gina Buchenauer (Bing), Perry, Belinda Buchenauer (Petzke), Mike Ferrede and Tom Otto; and her pet Ciri. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Carmen to the Cardiac Care Unit with the Waterloo Region Health Network (WRHN) and can be done through the funeral home.
