He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary; his parents, Emanuel Frey and Leah Frey; his grandson Andrew Frey; his brothers, Abner and Leonard; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Martin, Mervin Lichty, Earl Wideman, Alice Frey and Esther Frey.
He is survived by: his wife Lovina; his children, Raymond Frey (Martha), Shirley Martin (Murray), Marilyn Bauman (Leonard), Lamar Frey (Marilyn) and Karen Frey (David); and his siblings, Melvin (Irene), Edgar (Sadie), Willard (Alice), Laverne (Gloria), Viola Martin, Ada Lichty, Erma Wideman and Florence Wideman (Menno). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (7 Spencer St, Milverton, ON N0K1M0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
