Elmer Zehr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, Elmer Zehr (New Hamburg, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses and Fannie (Lichti); and his family, John, Emma, Mary, Laura, Norman (Amy), Jacob (Alma) and Esther (Ohmer Jantzi).
He is survived by: his wife Ethel (Leis); his children, Donna (Murray Ziegler), Larry (Carolynne Howald) and Sharon (Paul Rhodes); his grandchildren, Erin, Lisa, Jason, Jarrett, Josh, Tess and Adrian; and his great grandchildren, Nic, Payton, Eloise, Jillian, Liam, Layne, Katie, Aiden and Lyla.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Steinmann Mennonite Church (1316 Snyder's Rd W, Baden, ON N3A3K8). A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Steinmann Mennonite Church Cemetery (1316 Snyder's Rd W, Baden, ON N3A3K8).
