He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Martha; his brothers, Raimond and Arthur; and his sibling-in-law Tosca (Langenegger).
He is survived by: his sons, Roland (Monika) and Carmen (Paul); his grandchildren, Luke, Kate, Leo and Isabelle; his brother Otto; and his friend Jack. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (82 Bergey Ct, New Hamburg, ON N3A2J5). A reception was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Erwin can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Listowel.
