Jean Elizabeth Cook Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Elizabeth Cook (New Hamburg, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Christner and Elizabeth Christner (Craig); her husband Stuart Albert Cook; and her sister Mary Ellen Boehler (Tom). She is survived by: her close friend Bonnie Gordon; her daughters, Mary Cook-Glencross and Nancy Cook (David Butz); her grandchildren, Conner Glencross (Olivia Taylor), Nina Butz (Adam Taylor) and Alexandra Glencross (Trevor Wilkes); and her great grandchild Wallace Taylor-Butz. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their children.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (23 Church St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1J1).
